The Summer Elf by Teeni Elf is a children’s picture book about a team of special elves that give kids presents on the last day of school. The children are rewarded for doing well during the school year. The kids get to enjoy their gifts because it is easier to play with the toys and games in the summer weather. The summer elves have special powers like camouflage and the ability to talk to dogs, and they have to follow one golden rule: Do not get caught. Sunny and Phoenix are summer elves, and in this book, we join them as they spread joy by giving children their prizes on the final day of school. The two run on a tight schedule and encounter many challenges but have fun distributing gifts.
I enjoyed reading The Summer Elf because it has a unique concept and an entertaining story. It is difficult for children to play outside and enjoy toys during the cold winter weather. Hence, Teeni Elf suggests the idea of elves that give presents during the summer. The fact that they give gifts on the last day of school encourages children to work harder during the school year. It is also a good incentive for children who need motivation and help to focus on their academic goals. Apart from the great concept and story, this book also contains colorful illustrations that reminded me of modern cartoons. The characters were lively, and the surroundings were beautiful. I recommend parents, guardians, and caregivers read this book with their children to introduce them to the summer elves and inspire them to do well in school.
