Holly and her sister looked up to each other until betrayal happened. Holly left home to pursue her career in music and never wanted to return. Almost a decade later, a terrible illness forced Holly to pause her passion and return home. Unfortunately, the bad memories remained, especially when she saw the twins, Steven and Levi. Steven, an attorney, was known for his womanizing, but Levi didn’t care for all that. He was a music agent focused on growing his company. However, he couldn’t erase Holly from his heart, even after so many years. Levi was ready to catch her again if she fell, but love had burned Holly before. Will she forgive and give it another chance? Find out in The Sister Pact: Home is Where The Heart is by Jacquie Biggar.
The Sister Pact by Jacquie Biggar is an emotionally charged romance novel of love, family, grief, forgiveness, loss, healing, and happy endings. The saying that family is everything is evident in this riveting tale. The Tremaine family situation was realistic and applicable in many homes today. The question for me was, “Is it possible to forgive that kind of betrayal?” This book is a wake-up call to parents and guardians to never pitch siblings against each other by favoring one over the other. Such behavior could lead to resentment or cause untold damage. Jacquie’s plot was brilliant, and she effortlessly developed memorable characters and storylines. The writing was simple and the dialogues were easy to follow, which helped me have a pleasant reading experience. The Sister Pact is indeed a beautiful book from Jacquie!
