Billionaire Lyndon Surway was last seen boarding his personal aircraft alone, which was his usual habit, but when he did not return at his usual time of 6 p.m., everyone knew something was wrong. The day before he seemed normal, so where was he? The Secret Billionaire by Teymour Shahabi is a great story of suspense and mystery. The story will leave you second guessing every step of the way. After an unsuccessful month of not finding Mr. Surway, his attorney disclosed his last will and testament. In his will, Mr. Surway was extremely generous to his staff, servants and even their children, but what struck everyone as odd was what was left to his dear old friend, Lucien Barker? Who is he? Where is he? Another mystery is what happened to the cash assets that were made a part of the will. No money can be found, not even in the town’s bank, the Metropolitan Savings Bank; it suddenly disappeared.
I read The Secret Billionaire by Teymour Shahabi within a few days, and I had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed it and the story truly captured my attention. There were so many mysteries to discover and ties to connect. The story is presented in a multifaceted fashion, with so many different story lines that are all intertwined to bring us to the peak of solving the mystery behind The Secret Billionaire. As Teymour began to develop the story and introduce more characters, the plot thickened. If you love mystery and suspense, this is a great read.
