Rainbow was born different in a beehive far away. Instead of black and yellow stripes, this bee had stripes of different colors. That is why the Queen Bee decided to name the bee Rainbow. Rainbow not only looked different but liked different things too and when most of the bees liked the sweet nectar from garden flowers, Rainbow preferred the sour nectar from wildflowers. The Queen Bee decided to test Rainbow one day to see how different Rainbow was from the other bees. She checked if Rainbow could fly like the other bees, if Rainbow could pollinate like the other bees, and buzz like the other bees. The hive understood Rainbow could do everything they did despite looking different.

The colorful and bright illustrations make the concept clear to readers and make the book captivating.
