The Pandarus File, written by Kyle Keyes, is a gripping and suspenseful mystery novel. Helena finds herself married to a rich guy named Rodney at a very young age. The situation was welcome to her as she grew up poorer than the expression "dirt poor." Despite her beauty queen looks, she had a "tough girl" side and was a girl who could take care of herself. Her love for the finer things in life led her to scheme and plot to gain her husband's inherited family fortune. She did not count on the fact that the small-town local law enforcement were more intelligent than they appeared, and were not ones to let a case drop into the depths of the past unsolved. Starting on the case as a rookie, one officer had dedicated a lifetime to the Pandarus file.

Move over Arthur Conan Doyle, here comes author Kyle Keyes who writes an exciting murder mystery full of suspense, gifted characters, and an incredible story plot, with its transitional time periods from chapter to chapter. The author jumps from 1958 to the year 2000 often, giving readers clues to their suspicions as they turn each page. The author used great detail in describing characters, scenery, time periods, and technology, giving readers a vivid mental illustration of the happenings within each chapter. A great read for readers of a mature level. (Older teens to adult).
