In the most recent release by author Luke Taylor, The Muiread: Volume 1 of the Ageless Duel, the reader encounters an absolutely epic tale of fantasy. A warrior of Connor MacHue is prepared to escort his daughter, Ivy, through the battle torn countryside to safety. He knew the journey wouldn't be easy, but what he didn't count on were the feelings that he would quickly develop for his charge. Amazing battle scenes, heroic feats, adventure and thrills abound as their journey progresses. Will their travels be successful and will their feelings come to light, or will the forces working against them and for evil prevail?
I so enjoyed this book. It was an amazing read in the fantasy genre. Author Luke Taylor is an absolute genius at creating characters that the reader will be completely invested in. And his ability to create worlds that are both fantastic and seemingly realistic is simply second to none. Any person who enjoys fantasy will absolutely love The Muiread. More than that, any reader who loves fiction and a simply great read would love it as well. The only piece of advice I have for a reader is to set aside enough time to read the book from start to finish. You simply will not want to put it down once you've begun. I highly recommend The Muiread to readers, and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for author Luke Taylor. His work shows such promise that I cannot imagine he will stay undiscovered for long.
