So many married couples find themselves in trouble without even knowing why. This book is a great way to help those people. The Love Fight: How Achievers & Connectors Can Build A Marriage that Lasts by Tony Ferretti and Peter J. Weiss explains a lot of the common problems that couples experience and why they are falling apart instead of growing together. With real life examples and more insight into how to be an achiever or a connector, it shows you how to grow alongside your partner instead of against them. You’ll also find out more about how to make your marriage work and how both of you will have to work to be successful in achieving your goals.
I loved this book because I just recently got married and have been concerned about making it work. I love my husband and right now we don’t have any problems (I know that won’t last) but a lot of people in my family have gone through a divorce and I worry about it happening to us. So I picked up this book to find out more about what we can do to overcome some of these problems. I absolutely loved it because there’s not just a bunch of cold, clinical facts but some real examples. I also love that the writers of this book shared some of their personal experiences and weren’t afraid to say that they haven’t always been perfect themselves. This just proves that problems occur in every marriage and it definitely made me more interested in reading this book. I feel I’ve got a lot of insight into my side of making our marriage work thanks to The Love Fight by Tony Ferretti and Peter Weiss.
