There are spiritual forces at work beyond what we can see with our limited vision in the physical world. The Journal of Ezekiel Walker steps beyond the world of our physical vision to the world of spirits where the powers of darkness and the Prince of Darkness battle those of the light and the Son of God. John J. Zelenski starts off his tale with a vision of three men guarding the path between the woods and the farm house where Ezekiel is living with his father and mother. Following that vision, Ezekiel sees a demon and then a message written on the palm of his hand; a message that communicates the source of power that will support him. At church the following Sunday, Ezekiel and his family meet a man by the name of Simon Tremblestone who seduces his father with all sorts of promises for his father's church and for the town of Walker Vale. Though Ezekiel and his mother feel that there is something not quite right with the man, they say nothing, thrilled that Ezekiel's father seems to have found a new sense of hope. However, the presence of Tremblestone is the beginning of a series of events that leave little doubt as to what source is behind his sinister smile. Ezekiel must depend more than ever upon his faith in order to overcome the challenges suddenly thrust upon him.
John J. Zelenski has penned a captivating story that is impossible to put down. The Journal of Ezekiel Walker takes a solid grip on the reader from the outset with excellent character development and a plot that instantly grips your interest. Zelenski mixes the truths of scripture and a level of purity in the characters that is very rare and much sought after by the most zealous of Christians. The power of Jesus Christ is portrayed in such a way that leaves little doubt as to His sovereignty over heaven and earth, and the example of Ezekiel following Him brings hope throughout The Journal of Ezekiel Walker. You will be lifted up in spite of the dark subject covered in this story.
