The Fountain of Youth (A Wryte and Wong Adventure) by Jonathan Tindall is an intriguing adventure novel that would appeal most to a diverse audience ranging from teenagers to adults who enjoy tales of mysterious thievery and lost legends. Patricia Wong was a successful career woman who was living the high life until a sudden encounter with a thief leaves her with a black mark on her record. With a driving need to see justice done, Patricia sets out to settle the score, but when she ends up caught in her own net and on the run, her only hope may be a man by the name of Jackson Wryte. Will Patricia clear her name or will she find herself pulled deeper and deeper into the world of crime?
The Fountain of Youth (A Wryte and Wong Adventure) by Jonathan Tindall has an intriguing cover that I found visually appealing, which showed the two main characters’ appearances. I found that I was quickly pulled into Patricia’s’ scheme to catch the thief responsible for her fall from grace; I loved Patricia’s determination and drive to see justice done. Patricia quickly became my favorite character with how she managed to pull herself together and roll with the punches being thrown at her, even when she ended up caught in her own trap. The author did a spectacular job in developing Patricia into a character with her own personality, feelings, and goals that any reader could relate to. Overall, I really enjoyed the fast pace of the plot and I really hope the author decides to write a sequel!
