The Eleu Store (What's An Eleu? Book 3) by Dr. Dada is the next in the universe of Eleu’s adventures. Because of the book’s fast pace and paired rhyme verses, each page seems to be taken from a poetry book. This time Dr. Dada narrates another adventure in which Eleu questions the baby store. It all starts when she and her dad had a wonderful day drawing and her dad brings up in the conversation, to her disbelief, that "he could trade her at the Eleu store." How could a store like this exist? Somewhere far in the desert, close to the thunder and sky, there is a store that you can reach only if you have a backpack full of toys and blankets, travel by bike, or climb a tall cliff, and there the shining glass store resides.
I enjoyed The Eleu Store by Dr. Dada because of its quirky and distinctive artwork. From the vibrant green used for the character that represents the father to Eleu's burst of rainbow hair, the colors give character and originality to each of them. I enjoyed and chuckled at the author's interpretation of how babies are created. The explanation is that a mountain so high that it touches the sky has a stunning tall glass structure on top of it, and that structure is a store where you can choose the desired baby. I also liked the fast pace and poetic lyricism of the book.
