James Doulgeris and V. Michael Santoro's terrorist thriller, The Dyodyne Experiment, examines the extreme means taken in the name of defending America. When Muslim terrorists hijacked an oil tanker, transformed it into the biggest conventional bomb possible, and set it off in New York City's harbor, thousands of people were slaughtered. America’s best chance of facing and defeating the terrorists was with Sarah Randall leading the Dyodyne organization. By using a virus to interact with terrorists' DNA, Sarah and her team located and tracked them. Sarah developed romantic feelings for Tim Hatcher, a satellite tracking specialist who assisted her and her team in resolving the issue brought on by relying too much on wireless phones. Together with diplomats and CIA officers, Tim, Sarah, and her team were racing against the clock to protect America from her enemies.
The Dyodyne Experiment by James Doulgeris and V. Michael Santoro was filled with espionage, terrorist threats, and romance. With all the twists and turns, the plot moved quickly, and I found it impossible to put the book down. There was just the right amount of intrigue and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat. The story captivated me right away and kept me wondering right up until the very end. The characters were well-developed and authentic. Since Sarah and Tim were drawn to one another right away, I liked following their relationship as it blossomed. The story was told from multiple points of view on the same day, which enhanced the plot. This book was an exciting read, and it is evident that extensive technological research was put into it.
