Grab a bag of popcorn and sit back because once you start flipping through the pages, there is no stopping. Giordano hatches an intriguing plot featuring spell-binding twists and an exciting cast. His great style of writing kept me on edge with suspense, tension, action, and thrills. Giordano exhibits his sense of wit through the conversations he relates and I laughed a lot while reading. His scene depictions are vivid, which made me feel that I was next to his cast members, watching them closely but helplessly. His narration is effortless, switching between scenes while at the same time digging through the past and the present. The cast was amazingly developed. There are underbosses, dangerous wingmen, money laundering, guns, espionage, dirty deals, secrets, blackmail, and so much more.
