Music is a form of artistic expression that is special. Many children are musically talented, and we must help them to develop it in the right way. They will be able to find motivation in The Beat in My Head. In this story, children will learn about the work of an audio engineer and discover that music is always around them. Ariel Blackwell and Brandon Blackwell share the story of Brandon, a boy who hears sounds differently. At first, it got Brandon into trouble because he didn't seem to pay attention in class or in other activities. He couldn't ignore the way the sounds around him produced music. He attended a concert and learned about an audio engineer's work, which marked a change in his life.
Ariel and Brandon Blackwell are a couple who share their love for music. They are trying to change the music industry by inspiring kids to get involved. The Beat in My Head is based on the true story of Brandon Blackwell, which I found inspiring. The story feels authentic because it describes the problems a kid with a creative mind can experience. This story conveys a valuable lesson as Brandon demonstrates that it can be hard to know what you like, but you can still have great potential. The illustrations are simple but expressive. The narration makes you feel the sounds as if they are music and it has a great rhythm. Readers will discover that there is music all around them. This book will motivate many children to approach the world of music differently.
