Zeke and Kelly are headed to the Strawberry Festival in the story The Adventures of Zeke: Strawberry Festival by Kelly Robertson. Zeke greets two bikers who are on a motorcycle and they hit it off. Once they reach the Strawberry Festival, Zeke makes a beeline for a pile of ice which has been poured onto the grass by a man. A little boy comes to pet Zeke and his mother tells Kelly that he loves dogs. Zeke has such a good time and Kelly tells him when it is time to go back. So do you want to go to the Strawberry Festival with Kelly and Zeke and have loads of fun?
This is a light, simple, and fun story revolving around Kelly and her dog, Zeke, and the happy times they share. Many young readers who have dogs at home will be able to relate to the story. The illustrations are adorable and children will love Zeke and his antics. The story comes alive in front of readers’ eyes with the help of these illustrations. The illustration of Zeke rolling in the ice is delightful and is something that every child would like to do. It is a lovely book for bedtime story-telling and can be used for interactive sessions in classrooms and school libraries. It is fun to see how Zeke enjoys his time at the Strawberry Festival along with Kelly. Children will definitely love this book because it is funny and adventurous.
