Meet Liam the superhero who came to stay with the Merideth family. Though Liam was a sickly child, he had a strong spirit especially when he wore his red cape. He couldn't run fast or jump high. His lungs were weak and everyone had to be careful when they played with him. He had to take big deep breaths and a tube called a trach and a machine called a vent gave him that extra air. There was a button in his tummy that hooked up to all the tubes that gave him his meals. Though the Merideth family was scared initially, once they got to know how the tubes worked they weren't scared. They loved Liam just the way he was. Though Liam could not speak, love was his superpower. The Merideth family knew Liam wouldn't live long and so they decided to make every moment with him an adventure fit for a superhero. Let's read more about Liam's adventures.
