The 12 Terrors of Christmas by Claudette Melanson is sub-titled A Christmas Horror Anthology. Draw the curtains, dim the lights and open the door to 12 original tales of terror. Find out what Santa wants for Christmas, what he has always wanted. See the cost of righting a wrong and find out what evil lurks in the innocent white of deep snow. Follow the terror that is stalking the elves as they get ready for Christmas Eve, and feel your heart hammer in fright as Santa’s sleigh falls out of the sky, ripping Christmas and hope to pieces. Follow 12 tales as they lead you through a darkness you hope never to see again, and change the way you see Christmas forever. Meet vampires and demons, ghosts, terrible elves, and other dark and nasty creatures hidden just out of sight, under the crinkly merry wrapping of a not so traditional Christmas.
The 12 Terrors of Christmas: A Christmas Horror Anthology by Claudette Melanson is a terror-filled book that shows us the other side of Christmas, a side that we don’t want to admit might just exist! Twelve tales of perfect spine-tingling terror, tales that will stop you closing your eyes on Christmas Eve and stop you hoping for a visit from the man in red himself! These tales are very well written, very descriptive and eye-opening as they draw a line between the merry legend of Santa Claus and the darker legends of vampires, werewolves, demons, and ghosts. If you love short stories and want to read something different, I would recommend this book. It will draw you in, it will terrify the life out of you, and will begrudgingly let you go at the end.
