Star is the daughter of a hippy couple from the sixty’s era, Woodstock, protesters of the war. Wes was the son of a career Navy man. As the story begins, both are on tour duty in Iraq. Star just arrived at a new unit and was transferred out right away to another unit.
They said it was safe, just as their unit was attacked. Star is captured, along with Wes. Neither of them knew each other. God seemed intent on them being together. When Star is rescued, she asks about Wes, the man that was captured with her. They said there was no one with her. Was he there? Was he just a figment of her mind? When Wes is found, he is wondering what happened to star.
Will Star ever find Wes? Was he real or was he just a thought in her mind to ease her through her captivity. This is an amazing story and will keep you wondering right to the end.
