Larche does a delightful job of teaching children the concepts of economics in a fun and easy way. Striker Jones and his friends - Sheila, Bill and Amy - will keep readers entertained with their detective acts where they use the concepts of economics to solve puzzles and mysteries. Readers get to learn about supply, demand, incentives, risks and other concepts of economics. The mini-mystery plot and the conversational dialogue connect well with readers, where they will find learning economics fun and easy. The book takes the study of economics to an entirely new dimension where the story and the entertainment make the learning part look very easy.
What a perfect way to teach children. The author does it with expertise and the manner in which she teaches the concept is interactive as well as innovative. Each story ends with a question that will make young readers ponder. The book is a must-have in every school library and I would recommend the parents of school-going kids to have one in their personal collection.
