Jess Parks, a television actor, is about to have his first big break as the lead cast in a new motion picture. A new high in his life, which is greatly rivaled by a low point in his marriage – divorce. He is also baffled by a recurring dream of a beautiful blonde woman, surrounded by a swirling violet mist. When he failed to get the role due to a schedule conflict, Jess starts to experience more bizarre ‘dreams’ that are so life-like. Unbeknownst to Jess, Anna Adell, a young housewife and mother, is going through the same odd experience.
At first, it was hard for me to grasp its concept, but after a few chapters, the flow of the story started to get better. I was immersed in the story of Jess and Anna – their love and friendship is beautiful. Moreover, the book is filled with many deep thoughts regarding spiritualism. It made me think of our real purpose in this world and about what is beyond our existence. Simply said, the story makes me think about everything. T.Brady’s “Soul Seeker: The Story of Jess and Anna” is different from any of the books of similar genres that I have read so far. It is entertaining and thought-provoking at the same time. It may not be for all readers, but if you give it a chance and read it with an open mind, it might surprise you as it did to me.
