"Songs of Solomon" is a poetic transliteration of the three books of the Bible written by King Solomon, exploring the vivid imagery and ethical foundations of these works, which are at once mysterious and profoundly practical. In this book, you will find an inspiring love song in Solomon, a lot of wisdom, promises, and practical insights and guidance to help in your everyday life. There are a lot of Bible truths here to help you with just about every area of your life. And a great advantage of this book is that it provides all three of these books of Bible wisdom together in one book.
In "Songs of Solomon" Christopher Young takes three books in the Bible, Proverbs, The Song of Solomon and Ecclesiastes, and transforms them into inspirational poetry. Since all three of these Bible books have a very wide range of topics and issues, you are sure to find something in this book that will be of interest to you. I enjoyed reading each book here, and then comparing it with my Bible to see the difference, which sometimes helped me to understand the scripture better. One thing I would like to see added to this book is an introduction and an explanation of the three books included here. Yes, I am one that reads those pages to see how and why the book was written, and I missed that here. I did enjoy this book, and if you enjoy poetry, or enjoy the wisdom books in the Bible, this is a book you will find to be a nice, interesting and refreshing read.
