Christina started writing as a young teen, jotting stories in wire ring composition notebooks. Her first typewriter made it faster to get all those stories out of her head and down on paper. Her love of writing has sustained her through a myriad of jobs that included hairdresser,legal secretary, waitress and door-to-‑door saleswoman.
Luckily for her, writing proved to be successful and a lot less walking than going door to door. SnowGlobe Reunion, a Christian Christmas romance, is Christina's third book. She is also the author of A Husband for Danna and its sequel, A Wife for Humphrey. She is busy working on a fall 2016 release. When she isn't writing or reading, she can be found walking her dog, talking to her herd of cats and spending time with her family.

Snowglobe Reunion by Christina Lorenzen is a charming and thoroughly enjoyable story about love, romance, and God's perfect plan and timing. As Carrie attempts to get home in time for Christmas, her efforts are thwarted by a blizzard and cancelled flights. While waiting, not so patiently, Carrie encounters the somewhat peculiar and insightful Mrs. Gibson and her mysterious snowglobe. Through a bizarre turn of events, Carrie has somehow been transported to the scene inside the snowglobe in the year 1942. She is in her home town, in the house that she grew up in, but instead of finding her mother, she finds her grandmother and grandfather as newlyweds. How did she get here and how can she get back to her own time? While trapped in her grandmother's time, Carrie is reminded of her own life and that one special person from her past that she may have overlooked in her unsuccessful search for love.
Christina Lorenzen takes us on a magical journey of love and self awareness that we can all relate to. As Carrie tries to find true love and fails repeatedly, she never stops to see what may already be waiting nearby. She never stops to ask God's direction or His plan for this part of her life. Dreading another holiday and facing her mother with still unfulfilled hopes, this unexpected delay may just help Carrie find what she has been missing. Christina Lorenzen's characters are comfortable and easy to get to know; they are well defined and well rounded, each with their own unique personality. Christina Lorenzen has written a love story with nostalgic twists as we enter the past with Carrie and come to know her better, and understand her romantic hopes more clearly by understanding the legacy of love that she comes from. Christina Lorenzen has delivered a traditional and somewhat predictable story that never gets old, and has given it her own unique flavor and style.
