But the Creekside Woods is no ordinary place as danger lurks at every turn. With the help of their friends, Thomas and Teddy must evade the monstrous dragon they call 'The Screech.' Meanwhile, Detective Claire Spillen and her partner Detective Bushner follow Thomas's trail through the woods. But they must hurry as a nefarious predator is on the prowl and is getting closer and closer to capturing Thomas.
By narrating the story through the eyes of a seven-year-old, G.L. Garrett captures the vivid imagination and wonder of a child's point of view of their world.
