Silver Lining Summer by Zanne Sweeney is a story of the collision between two worlds. We have a simple girl, Tess Green, with one goal: pay off her college loan, get her degree and start a better life. To achieve that, she had to waitress full time and work really hard. For ten years, she worked her butt off and she is just a semester away from freedom and great future perspectives. But then her world collides with Tank O’Brien, a sizzling alpha male, domineering President of the Steel Horse Cowboys Motorcycle Club. He is in Happy, Montana, to enjoy a much needed vacation and has let loose. Little did both of them know that Happy, Montana, would be the place where their universes collide. There is a conspiracy that overturns everything they worked for and hope to achieve. Plus, there is a sizzling chemistry between them that cannot be ignored and they would be fools to turn away from it. They will have to fight their enemies and then fight for each other.
Zanne Sweeney has done a great job with the second book in the Finding Happy series. The novel was great and perfect just the way it was. The suspense and thrill of Tess and Tank’s story will entrap you and will not let you go until you have read the whole novel. The story is sweet, thrilling, and perfect with a very bad boy and a very smart girl. You will definitely enjoy their story! A five star novel, indeed. It was awesome.
