Scandalous Intentions by Amanda Mariel is the story of Lord Julian Carrington, Marquess of Luvington, and Lady Sarah Roseington. When his father gives him an ultimatum, Julian sets out to find a wife that meets his father's demands. Unfortunately for Julian, he picks a woman who is far more stubborn than he imagined and he quickly begins to wonder if he made a mistake in picking Lady Sarah. Intent on a love match, Sarah is very resistant to Julian's advances, afraid that a match between them could lead to an unhappy marriage because it is not the love match she dreamed of. Can Julian show Lady Sarah that things have changed since he started courting her? Can Sarah marry a man that she isn't sure loves her? Will their marriage forever remain one of convenience?
Scandalous Intentions by Amanda Mariel is another amazing book in the series. Filled with beautiful imagery that puts you right there with the characters, Scandalous Intentions lets you step away from current times and immerse yourself in old England. Lady Sarah is very easy to relate to and has fears and concerns that women throughout the ages have had, just as Julian gives you a glimpse into the fears and concerns that men had, especially in the time period in which Scandalous Intentions takes place. Once again, with a book by Amanda Mariel I feel as if I've stepped back in time and gotten a glimpse into a love story of two people. I will definitely be on the lookout for the next book in the series!
