Reflections of a Sometime Thinker by Donald Michael Craig is an uplifting book in which the author's theory of life and living is conveyed across to readers in a poetic manner. The thought provoking verses, written in a simple and elegant manner, reach out to readers effortlessly, empowering their thoughts. The author has shown the beauty and love that exists to all readers in an understandable manner, and reveals the workings of the universe and the human mind in a profound way. The reflections of the author are useful in making readers reflect on life and living, and will also guide them to look at life with a new outlook.
I like the way the author has presented his philosophy and thoughts. It's a great book for the very fact that it makes readers more aware of the universe and its concepts. The verse form of writing makes it fast paced and interesting. I particularly enjoyed the verses on 'Meditation', 'Yoga', 'Symbols', and 'Laughing at Myself'. They all give readers a good, in-depth insight into the topic. The minimalist style of presentation makes the verses more profound and effective. I loved the author's concept of the fourth dimension as it gives readers ample points to contemplate about the dimensions and streams of consciousness. On the whole, it's an excellent read for all those who want to look at life in a deeper and more profound way.
