Princess Serafina and the Jeweled Circle was a pleasure to read. It is full of magical fairies that demonstrate self-acceptance and how to be a good person. Kristi Shimada has included this important life lesson perfectly within her storyline, and with the help of the beautiful and magical illustrations by Eko Setiawan, it brings the story and characters alive. It also shows why you shouldn't listen to people who try to bring others down, as it creates miscommunication and can damage friendships. I enjoyed reading every page of this wonderful book and I know children will too. I hope to see a second book in the near future so that I can continue with Serafina's journey. Keep up the good work, Kristi. I am excited to see what you create next!
