Sorin Sandru was born and raised in Romania. He knows how precious the gift of freedom is. In his book Poems Of The Universe he shares his thoughts and feelings on freedom. Too many have forgotten the desire for the taste of freedom. Too many have forgotten the struggle others have endured for their freedom. Sandru knows that freedom comes at a price.
The first poem in this book speaks to Sandru’s celebration of freedom. “Psychological Attack” discusses the anger of being used by those who think they are superior. On a happier note is “At Sea” and “At Mountain.” “Winter Dream” captures the peace of a snowy landscape. Sorin Sandru speaks of a lady he loves in “Cool Lady.”
Sorin Sandru expresses himself through his poetry. We all need an outlet for our emotions and Sandru has found his through poetry. Too often poetry is difficult to understand. But Sandru is very expressive and it is easy to understand his poetry.
