In Peachy The Warrior Princess by Gabriela Duran, Gaby has been rescuing dogs her whole life. Her dream is to see that all pets live a happy and free life. She thought she had seen it all as far as the suffering of dogs is concerned, but nothing in her whole life experience and all the years she had spent rescuing dogs had prepared her for the cruel reality of commercial dog breeding facilities; puppy mills. But that is exactly how she came to own the cute little toy poodle called Peachy. After years of being used to breed puppies for sale, Peachy was finally rescued from the puppy mill and later ended up in the care of Gaby. Gaby was heartbroken by the story of Peachy's life at the puppy mill and was determined to give the dog a new and better life. This is the story of Peachy and Gaby, the beautiful life they shared and the lessons Gaby learnt from Peachy.

Peachy The Warrior Princess by Gabriela Duran is a touching and inspiring story of how a little dog recovered from its miserable life, embraced the new life she had been given and went on to profusely touch the life of its owner and many others. The story gave a beautiful voice to the life lived by such a remarkable little dog. It really made me think twice about how we humans treat the animals we keep as pets and others. We always assume that they have no feelings or just ignore those feelings, but reading this book made me have a whole new take on that matter. Thanks to Gabriela Duran, the next time I interact with an animal will be a lot different. I was completely awed by the way this tiny dog touched Gaby's life and the lessons Gaby picked up from Peachy are lessons that we can all use in our lives.

Peachy: The Warrior Princess is a book for children and adults alike, depicting puppy mill dogs and the struggles they have to face during their unhappy lives. The author, Gabriela Duran, shares with us the story of Peachy, a lovely puppy mill survivor, in the hopes that more and more people will know about what really goes on inside a puppy mill and where our dogs actually come from. The book has an interesting structure; the first part tells Peachy's story with illustrations and simple language so that all children can understand it, while the last part is addressed to teenagers and adults. I found the structure of this story very useful and educational, as Gabriela not only talks about all the aspects involving puppy mill dogs. From holistic and healthy foods, to her experience with an animal communicator, the book has all you need to know about adopting and raising a dog.

Peachy: The Warrior Princess is a heartwarming book that will bring tears to your eyes and change the way you think about dogs and, most importantly, about buying dogs from pet stores. I think this book is a must-read for all animal lovers, and for parents and children that want to bring a dog into the family. Unfortunately, most of us don't know that much about puppy mill dogs and about they way that these little creatures are treated, but hopefully books like this one will change that. Peachy was a wonderful little dog, and with the help of Gabriela, her story is now known by more and more people.

Peachy the Warrior Princess by Gabriela Duran takes you on a journey of hope, love and wisdom. Peachy was a dog that was full of light and love, even in the moments that were darkest for her. This heroic dog never gave up hope that something better would come her way. This dog became a teacher, teaching humans that you should never give up on your dreams. Even with all her bravery, her survival and her teaching, she still had a place to be a princess, a diva and make sure she got what she wanted. Hey, don’t all well-loved dogs do that?

If you want a story that will make you cry and then laugh and smile with hope, the story of Peachy is for you. I personally love an animal story and this is one of the best I have read. Peachy overcame a great deal - she went from rags to riches and never seemed to give up on the human race. That is a lesson all of us as people could learn from Peachy. No matter how much life gets you down or how others bring you down, there are some who will build you up and help make life better again. Gabriela Duran has managed to tell Peachy’s story in a gripping way that does not rant. It shows us things we might not always want to look at, but leaves us with hope. I enjoyed every page of this book and I would highly recommend it.

In Peachy The Warrior Princess, author Gabriela Duran chronicles the life journey of a dog named Peachy, where her picture on the internet caught Gabriela’s eyes. This led to seven years of wonderful and moving moments spent with Peachy for Gabriela and her husband. A real life story about hope, love and wisdom, Peachy The Warrior Princess will also open our eyes further regarding the horror of puppy mills in the US. The writing style is straightforward, frank and excellently done. It is not hard to fall in love with Peachy as well as be enthused by her story. The bond that she built with her human family is universal – other dog lovers can definitely relate to and appreciate it. The experiences that Gabriela shares with readers are inspirational and thought-provoking.

Cramped, crude and filthy; this is the usual condition of puppy mills, very different from the responsible and loving breeders that ensure that their dogs grow up in a healthy and well-maintained environment. Commercially, puppy mills aims for profit and ignore the welfare of the dogs. Unfortunately, these horrible facilities persist because there is profit in it. As long as there is a demand, there is a market. Peachy is a survivor and definitely taught us that there will always be hope for these dogs, as long as we don’t look the other way and take immediate action about it. On the whole, this is a great book and I sincerely hope it will encourage more people to join together in an effort to stop the existence of dreadful puppy mills once and for all.

Peachy, The Warrior Princess by Gabriella Duran is an eye-opening account of puppy mills and Peachy’s rescue. Peachy, a tiny poodle, was born and bred in a puppy mill and stayed there until her rescue. Gabriella saw her face on the internet and fell in love with her instantly. It was her job to give Peachy the better life she deserved, a life Peachy always knew was just around the corner. Peachy taught her new family everything they needed to know, about never giving up or giving in, and about succeeding against all the odds. Peachy is a princess because she always gets what she wants; she is a born survivor, a true warrior. Peachy’s story will open your eyes to the true horror of puppy mills and what is being done about them.

Peachy, The Warrior Princess by Gabriella Duran really was an eye-opener. I know about puppy mills, we have them here in small numbers, but Gabriella brings it home in stark reality. She isn’t having a rant against the injustice of it, nor is her story all love and kisses; instead, it is real, it is practical and it taught me a lot. She has written from the heart and it shows in the way the tale is told. I hope many more people who read this will come forward and help do something about stopping the torture and disgust of puppy mills, and help give these dogs the life they truly deserve. Well done, Gabriella, for shedding light on a truly awful subject.
