New Birth or Rebirth? Jesus Talks with Krishna by Ravi Zacharias is a dialogue between Jesus and Krishna. Subramaniam sits quietly with his eyes closed. He leans forward as he imagines a conversation between Jesus and Krishna. Early in this book Subra explains that, to the Hindus, life is like a play. There is always an audience and the actors simply move on and off the stage; often it's the same actor but in different clothing (reincarnation.)
This book shows the contrast between certain Christian beliefs and Hindu beliefs. One of the major beliefs discussed in this book is the difference between resurrection and reincarnation.
It is important for people of differing faiths to understand each other so that they can communicate. You do not have to compromise your faith/beliefs by listening and accepting others.
New Birth or Rebirth? is a small book of about 90 pages. The cover is very attractive. The text is interesting and written in a simple, easy to understand style. This is one volume of the Conversation Series. I found the text enlightening. Too often we think we know what someone else believes, and we are usually completely wrong. Ravi Zacharias does an excellent job of presenting the information.
