Everyone expected a weekend of fun at the Point Beach State Forest. Grandpa Bob would spring a surprise marriage proposal on Windsong, the three musketeers would reconnect, and beachgoers would enjoy the Big Tent Circus. Everything went well until Grandpa Bob’s diamond engagement ring went missing. Archie, the clown and ringmaster, also pined for Windsong. Archie and Windsong had some history. The three musketeers named Dominic, Forest, and Sailor noticed some funny business going on, especially with the planned circus. However, they had only a few days to find the missing ring, and there were many suspects at the mercy of the amateur sleuths. Can Dominic, Forest, and Sailor find the ring in time for the proposal? Read Mystery at Point Beach by Kate Jungwirth and Deborah Erdmann for the entire story.
The three musketeers are at it again in Mystery at Point Beach. The Ringmaster subtitle was a captivating fifth installment that made me laugh, cheer and applaud. This book is perfect for adventure-loving children up to age seven, but even as an adult, I loved it. Mystery at Point Beach showcased bravery, adventure, greed, scheming, and enduring friendships. Archie and Grandpa Bob showed us that love makes us walk in the sunshine. Love is also pain, but love always wins. I guess secrets stop being one the minute you tell somebody because Sailor was such a loudmouth. The plot, storyline, and character development were excellent. Kate Jungwirth and Deborah Erdmann wrote a beautiful story using children-friendly language. This children’s novel was fantastic! Keep up the great work.
