Animals are one of the best possible ways to teach very young children because the animated ones are so cute children can’t help but be attracted to them. My Turn to Learn Opposites teaches children what they need to know about things like ‘open’ and ‘closed.’ This book helps them understand what an opposite is and how to recognize them in their own life. It’s great for a child who’s too young for school because they can be ready by the time that time comes. Marshall has definitely helped a lot of parents and a lot of young kids with this book.

I loved looking at the adorable pictures throughout this book. They aren’t just a small picture on each page but instead there’s an entire brightly colored scene that keeps a child’s attention and focus on what they are doing. Of course the owls will follow you through since they are the ones showing the child what opposites are. There are also tabs so children can flip between pages easily without needing help. Whether a parent is looking for something to read with their child or the child wants to read by themselves, they can do it with this book. They’ll learn opposites and, since the words are small, they’ll be able to learn how to read the book all by themselves as well. With easy words, this is just great for anyone who wants to help their child learn to read while also giving them even more knowledge.
