SK Berit has written a captivating collection of stories with various genres ranging from mythology, epic fantasy, and paranormal to science fiction, covering friendship, love, sacrifice, and survival. My Shorts Are Showing is well-written, with plot twists that fascinate and intrigue. Each story is unpredictable and presents a new plot and characters. The stories will stir your emotions and make you fall in love with the characters. For example, the futuristic tale about radioactive people fuses environmental protection and social decay themes. Treat yourself to a diverse range of short stories and flash fiction by SK Berit with this captivating anthology collection, My Shorts Are Showing. The book opens with the tale Ohn Taw Sawy, where a driver struggles to control his scrap of a car on the road in a race against a monster with an unusual love for songs. Next, a deep space asteroid miner runs into trouble and finally finds a chance at salvation after running into a crew of space pirates in An Unnamed Universe. Vis-à-Vis Imminent Combat follows two enemies on a bloody battlefield sharing a conversation on the technicalities of a heroic one-liner. Cosmic Will follows a man who intentionally sabotages his chances with someone he finds attractive. Finally, in Creamsicle, a young man wants nothing to do with being chosen as the universe's savior.

Laced with humor and heartbreak, alongside a slight flavor of the tragic and the absurd, My Shorts Are Showing is a riveting collection unlike any other you're likely to read. SK Berit takes you from one extreme to another in tonal shifts on a wild rollercoaster of a ride you don't want to stop. While each story has Berit's signature flair and dry humor, they all feel distinct and bring something of their own to the narrative. Some will make you laugh out loud, yet others will break your heart. All in all, this is one of those must-read collections for short story lovers. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't recommend it highly enough.

A couple of young bullies get their comeuppance from the great beyond; an exorcist holds a conversation with a curious gathering of demons with an intent to renegotiate the terms of a poor soul's possession; an interesting story of the never before heard details of a famous exploratory voyage in the Americas, and the curious tale of an extraordinary desk are included in this compilation of strange fiction tales written by SK Berit. So read along and be wholly mesmerized as the very best of an imaginative mind is brought to life but not in a sequence you or anyone else is familiar with in My Shorts Are Showing.

Unusual short stories provide an intriguing reading in SK Berit’s latest work. His compilation is unique in the sense that the characters initially appear not to be thoroughly thought out, and in some cases, not at all but as you read you gradually realize this is all part of Berit’s rather intriguing style of telling his stories. It creates an immersive atmosphere where we are thrown right into the middle of the action and follow the clues like threads to unravel the actual story carefully painted over the obvious one. I am pretty impressed with the conversations between the characters as they transition fluidly from outright comedy to dark humor and, in some cases, a touch of something much more severe. Credit must go to Berit regarding his compilation, as each of the stories is uniquely riveting in a manner that guarantees a delightful reading experience, as is the purpose behind this enterprising piece of work. My Shorts Are Showing is different in an excellent way that makes it stand out.
