Murder In The Theater by Christa Nardi is a fascinating sleuth murder mystery. Sheridan Hendley is a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Cold Creek College, a small private school. One part of Sheridan's job is to make the students, their parents, and the public feel that their school is a safe environment. This is rather a difficult task under the best of circumstances, and when Isaac, one of the students, is arrested for murder, the school board wants to expel him. Knowing that he is innocent until proven guilty, Sheridan advises the president to hold off until Isaac's trial is over. Kim begs Sheridan to help her find the real killer before Isaac goes to prison for a murder he didn't commit. Sheridan and Kim work together, searching for evidence to exonerate Isaac. All the evidence is circumstantial, and all the information that Kim and Sheridan uncover only substantiates Isaac's motive. Will they be able to prove Isaac's innocence and find the murderer before it is too late?
Murder In The Theater by Christa Nardi is a splendid sleuth mystery that will keep you fascinated to the very end. It is a delightful and well-written cozy mystery that leaves you with a good feeling. Although this is one book out of a series, it is a terrific stand-alone story. This is the first book I have read from this series, and I was never lost or confused. I am looking forward to reading more of The Cold Creek Series and Sheridan's sleuthing. This is a superb murder mystery, and I recommend this book to those who are fans of cozy mysteries.
