The amazing mountains and glaciers of Alaska are magnificent and Mr. Waldorf's reading glasses fall into the water as he looks down from the edge of a big glacier to see the river below. He knows he has to find his reading glasses to read his favorite books and so he makes his way down to the river. He thought he would try salmon fishing and maybe it would help him find his glasses but he couldn't. Mr. Waldorf decides to try his luck at panning for gold and since he gets lucky finding a bit of gold, he hopes he will find his reading glasses too. Mr. Waldorf learns about native customs after visiting a village of igloos, and he has to bundle up because it is very cold. From there he goes in search of caribou, the animals with large horns living there. He asks them if they have seen his reading glasses and a giant caribou shakes his head. Where else does Mr. Waldorf go hoping to find his reading glasses? Will he be able to find his reading glasses and if so, where does he find them?
