Moms, You Have More POWER Than You Know by Wisdom B. Fields is an insightful and thought-provoking book that gives a series of lessons on parenting, self-improvement, relationships, and launching the child and the self. The author shares her parenting mistakes which gives confidence to readers to accept the mistakes they have made and not feel guilty about it. It will give readers self-awareness to learn from their mistakes, and how an inward focus is more important than a dependency on external forces. This book is a good way to understand the ground rules of parenting, shine a light on motherhood, and awaken inner power.
Part I of the book gives three key lessons to serve as a guide for the rest of their parenting life, Part II tackles the challenges parents face and their growth, and Part III focuses on career and gives steps. Wisdom B. Fields tackles an often discussed topic with a different approach, making it an interesting and engaging read. The insights shared have been used by the author to turn things around in her life successfully.
Moms, You Have More POWER Than You Know is definitely a good manual for all those parents who are facing challenges with a child struggling to launch into adulthood, disobedient older children who feel they have nothing valuable to share, lack of faith in their parenting skills, feeling anxious about the future of their kids, and a critical spouse or co-parent who plays the blame game.
