Miles of Memories: One Woman’s Journey to All 50 States by Lori Spangler is an engaging book where readers are taken on a road trip to fifty states along with the author. Written in the order she has visited, the author points out the uniqueness of each state because of its geography, people, food, history, and tourist destinations. The longer chapters show more time spent in them, which gave her time for more adventures. Her traveling alone saved her from the arguments of where to go first and what to do, and encouraged her to meet new people.
