It was fast-paced and jam-packed with action, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. This book was hard to put down, and I turned the pages as quickly as possible. The characters were authentic and relatable. Mason tried to look out for his sister, but Mikey was stubborn and followed her gut. I liked the way Mason made other people aware of the presence of their loved ones and what they had to say. The story was well-written, engaging, and easy to read. I was left guessing right up to the very end due to the unexpected turns and twists. I enjoyed reading this book, and it exceeded my expectations by far.

Even though this is the sixth book, the character development leaves you in no doubt as to who the main protagonists are and what makes them tick. The supernatural element to the story adds a good deal of suspense, and the descriptive prose makes you feel as though you are experiencing everything the characters do, right down to their emotions throughout the action. This is an exciting addition to a thrilling series, and once you read one book, you’ll want to get your hands on the rest. A thrilling story, perfectly suited to fans of supernatural thrillers and murder mysteries.
