Living A Restored Life by Kimberly McWilliams is a well-written part memoir and part inspirational guide. The author has written her life story and the lessons she has learned with refreshing honesty and self-awareness. The book is filled with golden nuggets of information and viewpoints, but also excellent thought-provoking questions. I loved the journal entry sections and the passages from the Bible added authenticity to the points being made. The biblical stories also added a great deal of comfort and inspire you to be true to yourself without fear of guilt or shame. I loved the chapter on Breaking The Soul Tie; the message was powerful and profound. Also, the explanation of the many forms of temptation was very interesting. This book must be read with an open mind to gain maximum benefit. You will learn a great deal from this book about why you have made certain decisions that have not served your best interests. More importantly, you will gain the knowledge that you have held the power to make the right choices all along.
