Great small group or individual study…

Live Fearlessly is a great bible study. This book is geared toward women; nevertheless, I think it could possibly be used in a mixed group. This is the study of Joshua. The format is a daily 20-minute study. This could easily be adapted to a weekly study.

I teach a mixed adult Sunday School Class, so I am always looking for good Bible Study. Each lesson begins with a time of guided prayer. The next step is to look at the text in an inductive manner. The sidebars assist the reader in understanding the text through culture and era; there are plenty of questions to use in a small group study. There are questions that help the reader apply the message of the text to their own life. Each day’s study ends with inspiring quotes. I am impressed with this study. I intend to use this study in next quarter’s class.

If you're looking for a bible study that is NOT typical -- you know, a mile wide and an inch deep -- then you'll love going deep with this study in the book of Joshua!

While the outline says you spend 15 minutes a day with the LORD, you'll find you can easily spend much more time with Him. From reading the daily scripture entries provided, you'll be personally challenged by the homiletics-based teachings and deep, thought-provoking questions that will encourage you to daily examine not only yourself, but your relationship with the LORD. Almost every section requires a short "journal" answer to the last question, and it is there you will come face-to-face with where you are on your life's journey with your Saviour and how only He can help you through every challenge you'll ever face in your life, no matter how grave, routine, or seemingly simple they may be. I've yet to come away unchallenged to pray for the LORD to work a change in my life for His glory!

For anyone who has experienced BSF (Bible Study Fellowship International), you're going to love this book; it follows the same format of in-depth, heartfelt study and self-examination. But be forewarned: I've yet to finish a day's study in less than 30 minutes, by my own choosing -- praise His Name!! I am really being challenged, and am growing deeper in my relationship with GOD and Jesus; and I'm learning the truth that I can face anything this world throws at me because of GOD's love for me. He fought for Joshua and the Israelites; He's fighting for me, and He'll fight for you, too!

I encourage you to get this study; it'll change your life, no matter what your personal challenges may be!! And, if you don't yet know the GOD of this universe, this study is a wonderful way to see the miracles the LORD can do for you if you'll just trust Him with your daily life. Enjoy, and may GOD bless!
