Life Wisdom Word Search: Yoga for the Brain is a work of non-fiction in the health and wellbeing, as well as life advice and guidance sub-genres, and was penned by authors Cristina Smith, Rick Smith, and various other contributors who are named for their wisdom messages throughout the work. As the title suggests, this work seeks to encourage “positive play” in the mind that transcends into both body and soul, through the format of sixty curated puzzles. Within each puzzle section, we find positivity mantras, messages of wisdom from different authors, and separate parts of a cryptic message that build to share the overall philosophy of the book’s journey.

For readers who like to be active, even during their meditation and mindfulness sessions, these brain training activities are certainly a wonderful way to exercise the mind, but also escape the draining feel of everyday life for a blissful break. The puzzles are medium level so that all types of readers can access and benefit from them, and I felt that the layout of the work really lends itself to ease of use for different types of readers to work on the words and messages. Without wishing to spoil the sage advice hidden within each section, I will simply say that the messages are well penned, inspirational, and come from a variety of different backgrounds and life experiences, building up to reveal that mental clarity and inner peace is something everyone can find. Overall, I would certainly recommend Life Wisdom Word Search for all kinds of readers to enjoy.
