Latham's Landing by Tara Fox Hall is a trilogy of stories, all set in Latham’s Landing, a Cairn Isle well-known for its hauntings – and mysterious disappearances. All That Remains tells the story of Sandra. She has visited the isle with Tina, her best friend, in a bid to find out what happened to a relative who went missing years before. In The Origin of Fear, four friends from college visit Latham’s Landing to get pictures and help writing a thesis about fear. And in The Fire Within, Caroline Stone is after revenge. Latham’s Landing took her one and only love from her and she is determined to destroy it. She isn’t the only one; can Caroline join forces with the others to finally defeat Latham’s Landing? Or will they go the same way as all those before them? You see, there’s something you should know about Latham’s Landing – nobody leaves there alive.
Latham’s Landing by Tara Fox Hall is a creepy, spooky collection of stories about a haunted isle. It really grips you from the first page and you won't be able to put it down until you are done with the third story. Each story builds on the tension, leading you ever nearer to an explosive ending. This book is action all the way, three stories of an island full of terror and death, yet it goes so much deeper than that. Every character is individually developed with their own stories to a great depth in a short space. Each story will give you time to get to know them while living the heart-pounding terror they go through. I guarantee these stories will have you on the edge of your seat, reading in nail-biting terror until the very last page. I highly recommend this for fans of horror and of the paranormal.
