Jordan’s Arrow is a work of fiction in the fantasy, science fiction, and Christian writing sub-genres, and was penned by author Allen Steadham. Written as the second novel in the Jordan of Algoran series, we return to the adventures of Jordan SnowFire to find that she is now the Mokta Chieftess. As the shadow of war looms over the land, Jordan feels the terrible pressure of decisions that will either help or harm her people. Meanwhile, Erica faces yet more trying circumstances where she is trapped in the middle of tension and conflict. So begins a tale of survival, the hope of reunion, and a war that will change the land of Algoran forever.
Author Allen Steadham has crafted an enchanting and engaging fantasy work that can be enjoyed by many generations of the same family, and all on different but equally uplifting levels. The tense storyline of war and Jordan’s leadership serves as a solid core to the tale, delivering a powerful emotional arc and surprising plot twists that will keep readers going from cover to cover. One of the things which I really enjoyed about the work was the effort put into the atmosphere and worldbuilding, an essential feature for any great fantasy novel. Steadham’s lyrical prose brings Algoran to life with vivid depictions of everyday living as well as the heat of battle, making for a truly exciting read. Overall, I would highly recommend Jordan’s Arrow for readers who enjoy emotive and effective stories that come from an uplifting place.
