Incident, Not Accident by Suzan Strader is a personal account of a traumatic experience that the writer herself went through. In this book, Susan Strader describes how she almost lost her life in a horrific life-threatening accident, and how the whole near death experience changed her view on life afterward, especially during her recovery phase. She shares her thoughts on spirituality, talking about how it helped her see life in a whole new light. She focuses on thoughts about her faith and how she reconnected with that part of her life but, at the same time, she rethinks the very concept of faith as well. This is such a refreshing take on the topic and also shows in her writing, which flows from the beginning to the end of this inspiring book.
Suzan Strader also touches upon her thoughts about family, friends, and mutual love and care, at the same time offering questions and ideas to the reader to think about all those topics and hopefully try to translate them to their own lives and experiences. Incident, Not Accident is a well-rounded book of positive thoughts and thought-provoking questions about life, faith, and humanity. The concept itself works very well as a book for inspiring self-help and self-love. It is a lovely guidebook for everyone who needs a bit of a push in order to see life in a different way, to find their true self, and to let in and keep a positive attitude in their lives.
