In This House We Will Giggle: Making Virtues, Love, and Laughter a Daily Part of Your Family Life by Courtney DeFeo is a hands-on book that addresses making a house a home, a home that you desire and want for your family. This book is divided into several sections with a different virtue to emulate in everyday life and have as part of the home. A few of these virtues that are addressed are love, forgiveness, patience, respect and gratitude. Each section concludes with an activity and verses that further stress the point and ways to implement this virtue in everyday living. Interspersed throughout the book are “60 Ways to Bring Out the Giggles” and each of these are activities to do with your children to keep laughter a part of daily life as well.
Courtney DeFeo’s book, In This House We Will Giggle, is an excellent resource and activity book that I am looking forward to really delving into and working my way through. This is filled with practical tips, ideas, activities and truths that can easily be implemented into my daily living and into my home to really make it a home that I desire. While I already utilize some of these concepts in life and I have worked to instill some of the virtues already, this book is still a resource that I will utilize and refer back to time after time. I highly recommend this book for mothers who desire to create the home that they love and feel at home in.
