Father Sky and Mother Earth were in deep discussion to create light to remove the darkness when the world was created. They went to Fire for help and he created a brilliant fiery yellow ray of light called the Sun. The plants, the people, and the animals benefitted from the light of the Sun and he gave the world nourishment, vibrancy, focus, discipline, action, and most importantly, light. The Sun worked very hard and he was tired. Father Sky and Mother Earth rushed to the Sun upon hearing his cries and they decided to find a solution to help him so that he would not get burnt out. They went to Water for help and thus the Moon came about, who became the perfect companion for the Sun. They worked together and were happy until the Sun felt sad again. Father Sky and Mother Earth asked Air to create a light source and then came the Stars.
Hello Sun Moon and Stars by Shalini Saxena Breault is a beautiful book that will change the perception of children while observing the Sun, Moon, and the Stars. The book captures the magic of the Universe and its existence in a whimsical way and Emily Hercock's charming illustrations add to the beauty of the author's words. It is a beautiful story that will help children appreciate the Universe and celestial bodies. The author's way of introducing young readers to the Sun, Moon, and the Stars will make them love science and I have not come across such a wonderful book before about the celestial bodies.
