"Heal Your Broken Heart", written by Michael Kane, is a must read book, for anyone dealing with the loss of a spouse, partner or friend. It deals caringly with the emotional pain caused by the sudden loss of a loved one. Michael skilfully propels the reader through the necessary steps to overcome the despair and lead you onto a road to living fully, once more. There are excellent self-recovery steps outlined. Questions that will encourage you to face your new situation with renewed confidence, as you are armed with all the tools to help you face the future alone.
The book is for everyone who has suffered or is suffering from a broken heart, where circumstances beyond your control have thrust you into a place of loneliness. The various topics will help you become acclimatized to the new you. It will walk you through the rejection, anger and hopelessness, bringing you to a new understanding of who you are and what you should do now. It is not easy advice - but it is good and right advice. The one additional tool I would recommend would be a relationship with Jesus Christ. I found the book easy to read. The questions are very helpful for anyone dealing with separation, or loss by death. Having been there - done that - I know the tumultuous emotional roller coaster of this condition. I did not do the questions section, but read them and found them conducive to the necessary honesty one must face up to.
