Grandma And Her Missing Goat is written by Kunal Das and Vedika Agrawal and illustrated by Creative Knot. A storm is coming, and Grandma can’t find Dolly, her goat. Concerned for the safety of her beloved pet, she ventures outside and into the woods beyond. She meets several animals who advise her to turn around and go home to avoid running into the more dangerous animals in the forest. Grandma refuses to go back home and keeps moving on in search of Dolly. Where did Dolly run off to? With so many animals in the woods, will Grandma run into someone who might have hurt her goat? Will Grandma ever find Dolly? Will either of them make it back home to safety?
Grandma And Her Missing Goat is an adorable children’s story that will keep kids flipping pages to see what forest animal they will run into next and whether or not they might be dangerous. The cast of characters is a variety of animals that live in their natural environment and add a layer of wonder to the story. The illustrations by Creative Knot are beautiful and provide some added mystery to the plot. I recommend Grandma and Her Missing Goat by Kunal Das and Vedika Agrawal to young children who love animals and adventurous stories. This one has the potential to become a kids' favorite, especially those who are learning how to read and comprehend on their own. I look forward to more children’s stories by these talented writers, leading children into a fun new world.
