Kathy Herman has a talent for combining drama, action, thrill, romance, and Christian values all in one plot. Her characters are interesting and believable. She allows her characters to have very human flaws. Rue struggles with anger and forgiveness. The message of this story is one I will never forget. None of us deserves to be forgiven. We cannot earn forgiveness. Forgiveness must be freely offered with no strings attached.
