God’s Advice to the Nations of the World by Reverend Michael Walker is three books in one. Each section is concise and easy to read. The first part deals with depression, while the following book concerns parenting. The final part talks about pollution and our role in protecting the environment. Modern society may consider Michael old-fashioned, but he believes in following the Word of God. He also believes that men and women are different. In Genesis, God gave man the commandment to take care of the environment. We need to heed that command and do what we can to reclaim the earth from pollution. In the section on pollution, Michael includes an assortment of topics ranging from bicycle safety to burning waste. Michael applies the Word of God to all the ills of this world.
Reverend Michael Walker advises society based on God’s Word. God’s Advice to the Nations of the World is not a theological dissertation. It is practical and down-to-earth. Reading this book will lead you to think about how God’s Word applies to all of life’s situations. You may disagree with Michael’s conclusions, but his words will cause you to reflect before reaching your personal interpretation. Parenting, by applying biblical standards, could bring about a drastic reduction in juvenile delinquency. Teaching children how to live is just as important, if not more so, than teaching them how to make a living. Grandparents helping parents to nurture and train children is an excellent way of improving parenting skills. Parents need to teach children to respect authority and follow the rules. Michael certainly has given the reader food for thought.
