Getting Ready for My Dentist Visit by Fei Zheng-Ward is a picture book about visiting the dentist to help prepare youngsters for it and to understand that it isn't such a scary thing. This book will teach them about good dental health to minimize the need to visit the dentist. It will teach them all about what happens at the dentist but in a fun way to make the experience a little more enjoyable – as enjoyable as visiting the dentist can be. Kids will learn how to stop cavities, the tools dentists use to clean and care for teeth, and how to walk through that door confidently. This is the ideal book for kids about to visit the dentist for the first time and who are scared about what to expect.
Getting Ready for My Dentist Visit by Fei Zheng-Ward is a fantastic book that all kids should read. With its wonderful illustrations by Moch. Fajar Shobaru, this educational book is designed to help kids see that going to the dentist is nothing to be scared of and can be an adventure. There are plenty of interactive elements for young readers from questions they need to answer to spotting something in a picture, and space for them to write down the things they want to ask the dentist, along with lots of other fun elements that make the book more personal. Written by a medical professional in a way that children will find easy to follow, this book will help them see that the dentist's office is not a bad or scary place. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I wish it had been around when I was a kid facing my first dentist visit!
